I’m super excited to share my April 2020 Stitch Fix unboxing with you today. The box really screamed Springtime to me and I was super happy to dig into it the minute it arrived. Plus, it gave me a little break from the craziness happening all around us for a brief moment.
For most of the country, Spring is just arriving. For Florida, it has been here for a good month now and I can’t tell you how happy and grateful I am about it. We’ve spent many days outside enjoying the lake and beautiful weather.
We’re truly blessed and I know that now more than ever.
With the more consistent warmer weather, I’m finding myself officially switching over my wardrobe to more shorts, sandals and tank tops. Although cardigans, leggings. and jeans are fine when the sun goes down, I’m definitely ready for some lighter materials and wearing fewer clothes altogether.
You should see me during the summer, if I could wear nothing at all I’d be happy. Just don’t know how socially appropriate that would be! Hehhehehhe…
Although I didn’t receive any tank tops or sandals from Stitch Fix just yet, I definitely saw more spring-appropriate colors, floral designs, and lighter materials. There was a definite brightness to my April Stitch Fix box, and I loved everything about it!
As always, I shared all five of the items from my Spring Stitch Fix box within my Instagram stories and asked for some help with what to keep and what to return. If you missed the vote, I also put together this YouTube video so you can get a clearer idea of how the items looked on me after I tried them on.
Stitch Fix Box Review: April 2020 Fix #57
Like I mentioned already, this April Stitch Fix Box was all about springtime. Between the pastel pink shirts and floral flowing dress, there is no denying that this April box had officially transitioned me into the spring season. My stylist, Sierra, also added a pair of light denim jeans to the mix which I LOVED. So without further ado, let’s take a look at my April Stitch Fix Box.
Item #1 B COLLECTION Dassie Striped Crewneck Pullover SIZE- XS $48.00
My thoughts: This particular item was sent specifically from my stylist Sierra in response to another item I received in my March Stitch Fix Box. Last month, I received an absolutely adorable animal print basic t-shirt that I fell in love with and wanted so badly. I plain out refused to buy it because it was $88 and I couldn’t fathom paying that amount for a basic tee.
This shirt is only $48 and had more detail to it than last month’s top. For starters, the ruching on the sleeves gave this shirt a lovely feminine look. I loved the yellowish stripe and cream color of the shirt. The material was not only soft but light as well. Everything about it was perfect! Sadly, there were a few tiny holes in the front of the shirt after I took a good look at it. I tried to exchange it but Stitch Fix was sold out of my size. I was so bummed because I really wanted this top…Boo!

Item #2 MICHAEL KORS Ines Pleated Sleeve Knit Top SIZE- XSP $68.00
My thoughts: I almost died when my best friend, Kristen, told me she absolutely loved this top on me. She said she could tell by my face in my Instagram story that I wasn’t really jiving with it, but she still loved it and referred to it as, “uniquely cute”. Well, she was right when she read my facial expression…I hated this top!
I will admit that I loved the color but everything else was a complete flop for me. The ruffled shelves? The sheer and cotton material combination? The v-neckline? This top was so confusing to me. I did not like it at all. Sorry, Sierra!

Item # 3 KUT FROM THE KLOTH Feena Button Down Textured Top SIZE- XSP $68.00
My thoughts: Another pink top but a huge improvement from the last one. Although it screamed PICNIC TABLE to me at first glance, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. The material was a little on the thicker side but the quality of it felt great! I’m a fan of the ¾ length sleeves that are able to be un-rolled in the event that you want a full-length sleeve. I opted to unbutton the bottom and tie the shirt up for a more form-fit. Ultimately, I didn’t hate the shirt but I wasn’t sold enough to buy it.

Item # 4 KUT FROM THE KLOTH Dayna Distressed Frayed Hem Skinny Jean SIZE- 0P $88.00
My thoughts: It’s almost becoming impossible for me to say NO to a pair of jeans from Stitch Fix. I know you’re probably tired of me saying this, but I honestly believe that finding the perfect jeans for their clients is Stitch Fix’s biggest selling point. An item that is almost always impossible to find for myself, is always an item that my stylist Sierra nails box after box.
This month’s jeans are lighter in cooler and material. A perfect combination for the spring, in my opinion. I like how they are also a little distressed but not too much that my skin is peeking through all over the place. They are form-fitting in just the right places too! I couldn’t say no to these…

My decision: KEEP
Item # 5 WISP Ella Jersey Maxi Dress SIZE- 0P $88.00
My thoughts: In every box, I have one item that I literally go back and forth in my head about. For my Spring Stitch Fix box, this was that one item. It’s absolutely adorable. The color palette is literally ALL ME. The length of the dress was perfect. The cut flattered my shape nicely. The quality of the material was definitely there too. So why was I so on the fence?
Here’s why…
I struggled with getting enough use out of it. I just didn’t know how often I’d wear it and that ultimately became the determining factor on why I sent it back. Honestly though, after looking at these pictures again, I’m kind of sad I returned it!

Final thoughts for my April 2020 Stitch Fix Box:
I loved this Spring Stitch Fix box so much. I was so happy to see the pastel pink tops and the lighter jean option. I really loved the long floral dress and soft crewneck t-shirt too! Although I only kept one item from my April Stitch Fix box, I think my stylist did an awesome job nailing my style. Okay, well maybe not with that Michael Kors top but I’ll let that one slide!

I think you made the right decisions. Those jeans look great! I know what you mean about the dress but realistically this might not be the spring of dress wearing!
I’m happy you agree with me. It was a tough call on the dress but I just see myself home for a really long time so I have no idea when I’ll wear it 😉 I would’ve loved your Stitch Fix dress though. I’d probably be able to wear that one through the summer…oh well!
Ahhhh…Tiffany! You should have kept the gingham blouse! They are showing those blouses (and skirts and dresses) in Nordstroms–for double the price and not as cute as yours from Stitch Fix. You looked so dang cute in it–as well as the striped shirt (although I understand–you don’t want to pay for holes).
Thanks again for the fun fashion show–I love your Stitch Fix blogs!
I know!! I am having a bit of buyers remorse on a few of these items. I loved the color of that gingham blouse so much! Maybe next month I’ll get something similar. Thanks for your feedback <3
You got lots of cute stuff! I love that dress but I understand why you would send it back. I only did stitch fix one time and I ended up sending everything back!

I would definitely try them again. It takes a little bit for the stylist to get your style vibe. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh gosh! I am not a pink person but the gingham blouse is adorable. The dress is also awesome; I have a tendency to throw a light sweater or a denim jacket over my maxi dresses… but if your just at home it makes sense not to keep it. And of course the Jeans were great. Stitch fix really does know how to do britches. Lol. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, the best britches around!! I normally don’t love pink but really liked that gingham shirt too. I have quite a few regrets on not keeping some of these items but I felt like I wasn’t going to get good use out of them. Thanks so much for stopping by and giving your feedback!
I love, love stitch fix so far! I just started using it, but my stylist was so on point I bought everything in my very first box! Now, I haven’t bought clothes in a long time and badly needed updates, but I was not expecting to be so pleased. Thanks for your review!
Oh my gosh this makes me so happy!! I’m literally obsessed with them myself. 60 fixes and counting… Enjoy your clothes 💗
The clothes you received look way better than what I got. I returned the whole thing and cancelled my subscription. The material was very cheap, and nothing was well made. And way too expensive. I could buy better made at walmart.
Oh wow! So sorry to hear that. I’ve had really great luck with Stitch Fix in terms of the quality of the items. I will admit that sometimes I return items because of the high price tag but I make sure to let them know when I’m returning the item why I did so. They always respond directly to my complaints in my next box. I do know that the service isn’t for everyone though. I would say to continue buying from Walmart since you know it works for you. Thank you for commenting 🙂
