By popular request, here’s a recent picture (as of last night!) of Forge. He’s growing by the second and getting cuter and cuter each day!💙💙💙

If you’ve been keeping up with my stories, you know we did some “Puppy Shopping” for the little guy over the weekend. I even went as far as personalizing his food and water bowl stand…because that’s what an excited “Puppy Mommy to Be” does. Am I right?!? PS: I’m fully aware the stand is too big for him now but he’ll definitely grow into it. We’ll just put the bowls on the floor until he can reach.🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

One more thing, for those asking, we are officially bringing Forge home next, Wednesday, 5/12! I’ll be napping now in preparation for the inevitable long nights ahead.🤣🤣🤣

I’ve been waiting since my birthday to whip out this adorable @mudpiegift Margarita tray. I received it as a gift from my friend, Jane, and I figured Cinco de Mayo was the perfect time to whip it out. Because I’m still trying to be somewhat healthy, I opted to make my skinnier version of my regular margarita by substituting the simple syrup I typically use for sparkling water. Any flavor sparkling water will do so have fun with this recipe. The skies the limit!💚🤍❤️

Easy Margarita Recipe
*1 oz. Triple Sec
*1 oz. Silver Tequila
*1 oz. lime juice
*1/3 cup Sparkling Water (I used lime but any flavor will do.)
Rim a glass with sugar or salt and put aside. Add tequila, triple sec, and lime juice to a shaker and give it a good shake, shake, shake. Pour it into your prepared glass and top with your flavored sparkling water. Enjoy!!

Zach’s final Jazz concert was tonight and we’re beaming with pride. He walked away with an award for Outstanding Jazz Member. Woot! Woot! 🎹🎺🎶

For this week of Teacher of Appreciation, our family wants to say how grateful we are for this amazing band director right here, Mr. Darragh. He has pushed Zach to always strive for the best and never give up on his ability! Tough love…military style.💪🏼💪🏼
