Creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip is loaded with all the flavors and spices you love about Fall. Make this delicious and simple pumpkin dip during this Autumn season for your next Halloween party, Fall gathering, or even as a festive Thanksgiving dessert or appetizer.
Pumpkin season is in full swing and I’m finally starting to get on board. In all honesty, it’s a little hard for me to feel festive when the temperatures are still reaching in the upper 80’s every day here in Florida.
And before you start yelling at me, I promise you I’m not complaining about it at all. I know some states are already seeing snow and we’re over here still enjoying lake days in our bathing suits.
We’re super lucky and I truly know that. I just like complaining…just kidding!
Here’s my problem. For me, fall flavors and spices are on the heartier side. They’re comforting and make me want to lounge on the couch and watch television all day with my family.
But when you’re still expected to be in “bathing suit shape” for a possible impromptu lake day, like we had just last week, it’s hard to embrace the full flavors of fall. Sweater weather is more forgiving and can hide a couple of extra pounds without people noticing all too much.
Can we both agree on that?!

Our favorite spot to relax on the lake!
Just this weekend, I finally broke down and embraced the pumpkin season. With Halloween in two days, I knew it was about time to suck it up and dive into the fall flavors. Plus, Christmas will be here before we know it. I surely don’t want to miss out completely on All Things Fall!
To break the seal, I created a homemade pumpkin spice latte with espresso recipe that I shared on the blog yesterday. You have to check it out because not only is it just as delicious as Starbucks, but it’s also a fraction of the cost and at least half the calories.
I also plan on making my pumpkin butter squares this weekend because they’re a family favorite of ours! Plus, the original pictures I posted two years ago are horrible and need some major updating.
On a side note, the pumpkin butter squares pair really well with my two-ingredient apple cider in case pumpkin lattes aren’t your thing!
And all of the above work perfectly with my creamy pumpkin cheesecake dip. The pumpkin dip is so delicious that you can practically eat it with a spoon…I was definitely tempted!
The dip can easily work as an appetizer or dessert for any fall festivities you have coming up. It is the perfect centerpiece for your fall charcuterie board too!
It would also make a great lunch snack that you can be portioned throughout the week for the kiddos. Add some apple slices, pretzel rods, Nilla wafers, or even some Teddy Grahams for dipping.
The comforting flavors of this dip will give everyone the illusion you spent hours putting it all together when in actuality the hardest part of this dip is waiting for the cream cheese to soften!
You heard me right. Once you have your cream cheese at room temperature, you’re literally minutes away from indulging in this creamy pumpkin cheesecake dip. Yum!
Creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip
Here’s what you need:
8 oz. cream cheese (softened), 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 cup pumpkin puree, ½ cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, ½ teaspoon ground ginger, dippers (cookies, apples, pretzels, etc.)
Place your softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in a stand-up mixer or mixing bowl and combine.
Next, add your cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and ground ginger to the bowl.
Third, add your sour cream and pumpkin puree to the bowl.
Stir on medium speed until well combined.
The dip can be eaten immediately or made ahead of time and placed covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
We enjoyed eating this dip with Nilla wafers, Teddy Grahams, and animal crackers, but that’s just skimming the surf in terms of the goodies you can match with it. Let your imagination run free, my friend!
Now that I am officially on the pumpkin train, there’s no turning back for me. I’m in it for the long haul, or at least until I get pumpkin pox (totally made up sickness!) and need to wean myself off of everything pumpkin.
Skies the limit with this easy and creamy pumpkin cheesecake dip. I hope you enjoy it just as much as we do!

Tiffany–what I LOVE about your recipes is that you create EASY recipes that I can make up in a short amount of time–this one included! I love pumpkin and the ingredients in this recipe make my mouth water–pumpkin puree, cream cheese, spices (that remind me of Fall weather) and sour cream. I’m sure this tastes heavenly! Plus, I”m always looking for something new to add to our traditional Thanksgiving dinner and since everyone in our home loves pumpkin–this will be perfect! Thank you!

I will definitely be serving this at Thanksgiving this year as well. It truly is delicious! The best part is picking the dippers. I struggle with what to buy so I just buy ALL the things 🙂
