Recipe type: Appetizer
  • 16 oz. can refried beans
  • 1 can Fritos bean dip
  • 2 Roma tomatoes
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 2.25 oz. can sliced black olives
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayo
  • 2 cups guacamole (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz. package shredded Mexican cheese
  1. Start with bottom bean layer. Mix the can of refried beans and Frito bean dip and spread it inside your casserole dish.
  2. The next layer is your guacamole. You’ll need about 2 cups of guacamole for this recipe.
  3. For the third layer, you need to mix together 1 cup of sour cream, ½ cup of mayo, and 1 packet of taco seasoning.
  4. Layer four is simple. Sprinkle as little, or as much, cheese over the taco seasoning layer as you see fit. I used almost all of an 8 oz. package.
  5. Chop your tomatoes and green onions. Drain your can of olives too.
  6. Layers 5, 6, and 7 are your tomatoes, green onions, and black olives. Sprinkle the veggies over the shredded cheese.
  7. You’ll need to cover the dip and place it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours for the flavors to come together.
  8. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
